How to get to the Museum?
There are public transport stations near the Museum.
It’s located in Kirov Square – the historic center of Petrozavodsk – very close to the hotels, cafes, shops, restaurants.
There are the embankment of Lake Onega and Petrozavodsk boat station in 500 meters from the Museum.
Admission — 500 RUB per person
Audioguide service for permanent exhibition (Russian, English, Finnish) – 100 RUB
You can pay for tickets and souvenirs either in cash (Russian rubbles) or by card.
VISITOR POLICIES
Accessibility
The first floor of the Museum’s building is wheelchair accessible. There are specialized WC and no thresholds.
The Museum is accessible to visitors with special needs:
– a sensory room for people with special needs to rest and relax in case of emotional overload.
– 5 tactile copies based on the most prominent artworks at the permanent exhibition of Museum for the visually impaired people
Children
Infants may be brought into the Museum, provided they are carried in a harness or sling on the front of an adult. Children under the age of 3 years old are not admitted
Photography
Photography is only permitted without flash and without special equipment for professional photography.
Audio guides
Audio guide tour devices are available at the ticket office. The units are available in Russian, English, Finnish and Chinese.
Museum souvenirs
Souvenirs and memorable natural gifts made of environmentally friendly materials are offered for sale at the ticket-office.
