Days of Exhibition: January 31 – April 30, 2020
What can be more exciting than childhood? The wonderful time, when trees seem tall, all people are kind, and miracles are real, and a long fascinating story called life is waiting for you.
The Museum of Fine Arts of Karelia invites children and adults on a “journey” into The World of a Sunny Childhood. In the jubilee year some of the museum’s collections are on display for the first time, as well as the works of contemporary artists from major cities of our country — St. Petersburg, Moscow, Petrozavodsk, and Nizhny Novgorod.
The journey promises to be fun and interactive! Each guest will be in his own world of a childhood with board games and a real tent! At the exhibition, you can even fool around a bit – jump on painted puddles or paint a “museum wall”. Adults will immerse themselves in some nostalgic moments if their childhood: forgotten school years, fun gatherings with friends, and noisy sporting events.
You will be able to sit down and read books from childhood and transport yourself to your fantastic dreams. Young children often read aloud to adults: parents, grandparents. This is a place where it is always comfortable, warm, and cozy. Through artworks you will live your childhood again! Of course, pets will join us – ready to go with their friend, at least to the ends of the world, and in the kitchen for milk at night. At the exhibition you will be met by a large textile touch cat.
Childhood is the most happy time when you can endlessly play, have fun, enjoy life, and not worry about anything. Childhood memories are beautiful. And for many people they serve as a source of strength and creative inspiration their whole life.
