Exhibition “Another Side of Art” of Vladimir Zorin opened on November 10th, 2017.
Personal exhibition «Another side of Art» is dedicated to 55 jubilee of Vladimir Zorin, a Karelian artist.
Vladimir Zorin is a Member of the Artists’ Union since 1993, a Honored Art Worker of Karelian Republic since 2006, a Member of the UNESCO International Artists Federation, a curator of international art projects, and a member of land-art festivals.
Land-art, pop-art and unique works on birch bark are the main styles in Vladimir Zorin’s art that are represented in the exhibition.
In his unique birch bark pictures Zorin appeals to Russian proverbs and Russian history, travelling and travelers. The main themes of land-art and pop-art objects by Zorin are signs and modern electronic devices and their role in our every-day life.
